Description:

Thursday 23rd March 3.30pm to 4.30pm

The apprenticeship levy will be implemented in April 2017. A current CII survey shows that 50% of organisations still don’t know how they are going to use the levy and only 5% of respondents rate their understanding of the levy as excellent.

The London Market Group would like to invite practitioners from London Market companies, to get up to date insights on what the levy is, key dates, how you can use it and an insight into the new digital apprenticeship service, on which employers will need to register before the introduction of the levy.

The LMG is working with the CII to deliver the event and is delighted to welcome Verity O’Keefe as a key note speaker.  Verity is a Senior Employment and Skills Policy Adviser at EEF* and is a leading expert on the Apprenticeship Levy who is heavily involved in Government consultations and Parliamentary inquires as well as being part of the Government steering group on making the levy work for businesses.

Places at this free event are limited, so please register your interest now.

If you haven’t done so already, please complete the CII’s levy awareness survey by the 1st March, as this will help inform the focus and content of the session https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/NVKZ5QJ
