London Insurance Life (@LIL), the London Market Group’s (LMG) campaign to attract a new generation of diverse and dynamic talent into the London market, celebrates its first anniversary on the 24th January.
@LIL brings to life the vibrancy and breadth of careers available in the London market, via social media and events with young people, careers advisers and other influencers.
Over the last twelve months, the campaign has gone from strength to strength. @LIL’s Instagram, Facebook and Twitter pages have proved a success, registering 253,574 page impressions, 6,815 ‘Likes’ and 2,050 followers since their launch. Over 70 entry level jobs, graduate and apprenticeship schemes have been posted, which have resulted in successful job applications.
There are now 86 Ambassadors – young professionals working in the market – who promote @LIL at careers events and schools. Over the past year @LIL has hosted and exhibited at 31 events, attended by around 35,000 students, as well as careers advisers and teachers.
