Building a diverse, dynamic workforce


The talent and diversity workstream work includes:

Talent survey

  • We partnered with Deloitte to create and undertake the first market-wide talent survey at the end of 2015, to identify skills shortages across the market in the short, medium and long term
  • Over 560 people from 17 different business functions responded, and 16 interviews with senior leaders from across the market were undertaken
  • A report on the findings was published on 9th May 2016

Action plan

We have developed an action plan based on the finding of the talent survey. Key initiatives include:

  • Promoting the London Market as an employer outside our market – focusing on those roles and capabilities where we have identified skills shortages
  • Working with Partnership agencies to develop market-wide internship and apprenticeship opportunities
  • Continuing to support the market with the implementation of the apprenticeship levy by acting as the channel of communication to and from Government
